Welcome The Virginia Perle Art Gallery is located in the historic Captain Williams house in Toms River which was built in 1859.
The Gallery features the original art and limited edition prints of artist Virginia Perle, who is well known for her paintings depicting the lively and scenic Jersey Shore. Opening in 2002, the gallery marked the beginning of an evolving showcase of the artist's work which is included in many collections in the US and abroad. It has a charming casual atmosphere, enhanced by lovely views of the Toms River from the wrap-around porch. The gallery exhibits work of other noted artists, craftsmen, and jewelers as well. It affords a lovely day trip to the Jersey Shore where there are many other interesting and beguiling places to visit, including other galleries, riverboat rides, fine restaurants, the ocean shore, Barnegat Bay, the Toms River, fine restaurants and much more.

OPEN Wednesdays through Saturdays 12 to 4 pm and by appointment please call 732 244 4300 CUSTOM FRAMING is also a feature of the Gallery. Expert design services are available as well as many frame and mat choices. PARKING-- a large though SECRET parking lot is behind the gallery. It is accessed from Caldwell Lane, which is the first sidestreet to the west of the gallery. You'll receive a free gift if you find the secret parking lot. How to get there: (click on "find us") or from NORTH take the Garden State Parkway south to Exit 81, follow the exit loop around to the right, continue straight for five traffic lights (not very far). After the Hooper Ave. light take the first left and follow to the 3rd parking lot on your right. from SOUTH take the Garden State Parkway north to Exit 81, go straight towards downtown Toms River, pass through four lights, after the Hooper Ave. light, take the next left (Caldwell Lane) and follow to the 3rd parking lot on your right.
